Awarded government tenders

Who won which South African public contract, taken from published award notices and linked back to the original tender. Where the buyer disclosed a value, it is shown. Reading award history for the entity you want to supply is the cheapest market research a bidder has.

Who keeps winning this work?

The same suppliers appear again and again. Browse the award record by company — how many contracts each has won and which departments and municipalities appoint them. Knowing the incumbent before you bid is the cheapest research a bidder can do.

Common questions

Where does this award data come from?
Published award notices from South African organs of state, parsed and linked back to the original tender. Awards that were never published, or published without naming a supplier, do not appear — this is the public record, not every contract awarded.
Why do some awards show no value?
Buyers are not consistent about disclosing contract value in an award notice. Where the amount was published we show it; where it was not, we show the supplier and the tender without inventing a figure.
How can award history help me win work?
It tells you who a buyer keeps appointing and roughly at what level, before you spend days on a submission. Reading the awards for the entity you want to supply is the cheapest market research available to a bidder.
Can I see awards for one specific buyer?
Yes. Each issuing entity's page carries its own award history and its most frequently appointed suppliers. Browse them from the issuers index.

Have your bid checked before you submit

Most rejected bids never reach the pricing stage — a missing form, an unsigned page, an expired certificate. We check yours page by page against that tender's own requirement list.

Counted from award notices published by the buying entities. Awards that were never published, or published without a supplier named, are not included — so this shows what is on the public record, not necessarily every contract awarded.
